What I Got For $1 Or Less

This is a few days late, but I wanted to share my deals with you from my shopping trip on Wed. Once again, grabbing a few coupons when I see them available and hanging on to them paid off for me again this week. Here's how it worked:

  • 4 CoolWhip sale price $.99
  • 1 Oven Bags $1.92 $.50 coupon doubled $.92
  • 2 Kelloggs Cornflakes with Honey $2.99 (2) $1 coupons doubled $.99/each
  • 1 Kelloggs Cornflakes $2.99 (1) $1 coupon doubled $.99
  • 4 Lays Dip $3.59 (4) FREE coupons when you buy 2 Lays Potato Chips 4 FREE
  • 4 Chicken In A Biscuit Crackers $2/each 3/$1 coupons doubled $.50 each
  • 4 Rounds Butters Quarters $.98 each
  • 2 Dole Pineapple $1/each 1 $.55 coupon doubled $.45 each
  • 2 Uncle Bens Rice $1.66 each $.75 coupon doubled $.85 each
  • 4 Aunt Jemima Frozen Waffles $1.99 each 2 $1 coupons doubled $1/each
  • 2 Green Giant Frozen Vegetables $.89 each
  • 3 Banquet Brown 'N Serve Sausages $1/each
  • 1 Oscar Mayer Bacon $2.49 1 $.75 coupon doubled $.99
  • NOT IN PHOTO 4 Lays Potato Chips BOGO 4 FREE

I spent a total of $26.14 on these items. Each item was on sale, on sale with a coupon or not on sale but with a coupon.

The total for these items without coupons would have been $61.68. That's paying 58% more than necessary. Having strategies at the grocery store really does save!

Now, this is just the items I bought for $1 or less. On my total shopping trip this week I saved $115 and spent $84 for a savings of 58%. Not Bad!!

  1. Thank you for sharing! I love these kind of posts. It is fun for me to see what other people can do when they are out deal shopping. I went to Target and bought 8 boxes of Betty Crocker potatoes and 8 cans of Campbell's Cream of Chicken & Mushroom soup and only spent $5.82. That's a savings of over $17! I was very excited with that Target trip!
