Here's the 2010 Coupon Insert Schedule from Sunday Coupon Preview. Remember that this is always subject to change. The rule of thumb is that there generally are no coupons when there is a holiday in the same week. I like to print a copy of this and keep it handy so that I know what to expect each week.

Proctor & Gamble 3/7 Insert

You May Want to Consider a Second Sunday Paper on 3/7

Procter & Gamble will release its biggest brandSAVER coupon booklet ever THIS SUNDAY, MARCH 7, with more than $160 in savings!

This money-saving booklet will be included in newspapers delivered to more than 55 million homes across the country and features coupons from numerous brands including PUR Water Filtration, Gillette, Pantene, Tide, Venus, Olay, Pampers, CoverGirl, Febreeze and Swiffer, to name a few.

Plus, for every coupon redeemed, P&G will provide one day’s worth of clean drinking water to a child in need through the Children's Safe Drinking Water (CSDW) Program, P&G's philanthropic cause aimed at saving lives by providing clean drinking water to children in developing countries.

Rainbow Foods Matchups 3/7-3/13

Here are Karen's matchups from Minnesota Coupon Adventure. It's a good week at Rainbow this week!

Rainbow Foods doubles every Wed and Saturday and they will double five (5) $1 (value can be less) coupons once you spend $25. There may be some coupons that state DND on them when you print them out. I have no way of knowing which say DND on them unless I print them all out. If the coupon code starts with a 5, it is up to the cashier to not double it.

***You may or may not be able to use 2 coupons on a BOGO item. It is up to the individual store.
***Be sure to have them scan their gas promo card (this will end sometime in April). This also is based on your purchase BEFORE coupons, so it can add up. I just saved $1.90 per gallon or $38 as we filled up with 20 gallons.

15% Off Gymboree Coupon

There is a 15% off coupon for Gymboree in the Proctor & Gamble coupon insert. It is redeemable in stores and online and expires on 12/24. If you received the Circle of Friends coupon for 30% off from 11/5-11/8, then obviously this is the better option for purchases made in the near future. Otherwise, 15% is better than nothing!

Rainbow Doubles for 1/13

This is the Rainbow list that Karen from Minnesota Coupon Adventure has put together for this week. It is a great tool to pair with the list from The Grocery Game. Why do I recommend that you use the Grocery Game when lists like this one are available on blogs? I recommend the Grocery Game for the following reasons:

• Print a personalized grocery list in database form which is easy to use at the store
• Start educating yourself about what items really cost - without coupons and sales
• See the items color-coded so that you can tell what items are at the bottom of the sales cycle and should be stocked up on
• See all of the advertised AND unadvertised specials that are going on in the store
• One month FREE trial offer

Now, don't get me wrong. I appreciate all of the work that bloggers go through each week in putting their lists together. They work hard and do a great job. Even so, I haven't found a better resource than the GG for the most information and education in one place. To find out more about the Grocery Game click HERE. Contact me if you decide to use this site as they have a referral program that I would love to get credit for!

Rainbow Foods doubles every Wed. and double five (5) $1 (value can be less) coupons once you spend $25. Now the $25 is RETAIL price, not the sale price of the item. There have been a few times that this didn't apply, so I grabbed a Rainbow gift card once I saw the first coupon not double.

Be sure to have them scan their gas promo card. This also is based on your purchase BEFORE coupons, so it can add up. I have already saved .70 per gallon on gas! Over $13 saved!SS= Smart Source, RP= Red Plum, PG= Proctor & Gamble, GM= General Mills You need $25 RETAIL price of items before you can double 5 coupons up to $1.

Rebates

Do you take advantage of rebates as they come along? I know that they take time to cut UPCs or gather receipts, circle the items, fill out the form and find an envelope and stamp, but. . . I have come to realize that there are real savings in paying attention to the rebates that are available.

Now, I don't do all of the rebates that come along. I understand the tendancy to buy things that you don't need or to get so caught up in a rebate check coming in the mail that you forget that you are actually paying out of pocket for the item initally. I try to be careful and only buy what makes sense. Even with this mindset, I find that these are worth looking at.

Since the beginning of 2010 I have received $46 worth of rebate savings. That's not a ton, but it's more than a tank of gas!

Here are the rebates that I am looking at/working towards right now:

• BP Express Oil Change always has a rebate form at the register. The rebate amount depends upon what type of oil change that you get. For the basic oil change which costs about $32 (after the $4 coupon of course!) the rebate amount is $7. You send the receipt along with the filled out form to the rebate center and you get a check back made out to BP Express Oil Change to go toward your next oil change. Not a bad deal at all! You also get a FREE car wash with each oil change. This is so convenient with the BP gas promotion that Rainbow Foods has going right now.

• Proctor & Gamble Coupon Savings. Watch for details in the 2/21 P&G insert.

• Olay $15 Rebate. Olay is a P&G product. When you purchase your Olay items for this rebate, ask for a rebate receipt so that you can use these same items towards the P&G deal listed above.

• SC Johnson $5 Rebate: This is a great rebate! Buy 3 SC Johnson products and get $5 back. You can do this one 3 times per household. Sweet!
• Coors Light Rebate: EXPIRED. This promotion was actually 4 different rebates. 2 of them didn't even involve the purchase of beer! They ranged from $7.50-$15.

I always post the rebates as I see them or come across them. Look at the requirements and the expiration dates and see if they might work for you. I'm happy to take the time to address an envelope and find a stamp if it means that I can make a good deal even better!

What rebates are you aware of? Please share!

Proctor & Gamble Coupon Savings

Here's A Great Promotion by P&G

Receive more than $100 worth of P&G coupon savings by mail with the purchase of $50 worth of P&G products. Check out the complete list of P&G products. Look for special rebate information in your February 21, 2010, P&GbrandSAVER®!

You might be amazed at all of the product lines that P&G owns. Check out the list and you will quickly realize how easy it will be to take advantage of this deal. Hold on to any receipts that you might have that include these products until we can see what all of the details are. You might be able to use them depending upon the start date of this promotion.

Thanks P&G!
